Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
K9 Vision ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect when you use k9visiontx.com, why, and the choices you have. We aim for plain language and full transparency.
Information you give us
When you submit our contact / consultation form, we collect the details you provide — your name, phone number, email, your dog's name and breed, and any message — so we can respond to your inquiry. We use this only to contact you and arrange training.
Information collected automatically (only with your consent)
If — and only if — you choose "Accept" or enable the Analytics & Location category in our cookie banner, we collect:
- Approximate location — your city, region/state, postal code, and country, derived from your IP address by our hosting provider (Cloudflare). We store this coarse location to understand where our visitors come from. We do not store your raw IP address.
- Usage analytics — if Google Analytics is enabled, standard, aggregated metrics about pages viewed and site interactions, with IP anonymization turned on.
Until you make a choice, none of this is collected — no tracking runs by default.
Cookies & local storage
We store your consent choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every visit. Necessary storage required for the site to function is always active. Analytics-related cookies/storage are set only after you consent.
Who we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We rely on a few trusted service providers purely to operate the site:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, security, and edge location data.
- Resend — delivering email (e.g., your consultation request).
- Google Analytics — aggregated traffic analytics, only if enabled and only after consent.
Your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie Preferences link (also in the site footer). Choosing "Reject" stops analytics and location collection. You may also contact us to ask what information we hold or to request deletion.
Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for analytics and approximate-location data (which you can withdraw at any time); and our legitimate interest, or steps taken at your request, to respond to inquiries you submit through our contact form.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate information or request its deletion.
- Withdraw consent, or object to / restrict certain processing.
- Request portability of information you provided to us.
- Opt out of analytics and location tracking at any time via Cookie Preferences.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request to know, delete, or correct your personal information and to opt out, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email us (below); we may need to verify your identity first.
Data retention
We keep the contact details you submit only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and provide training services, then delete them on request. Approximate-location and analytics data is stored in coarse, aggregate form for traffic analysis and contains no raw IP address or other directly identifying information.
International visitors & data transfers
K9 Vision operates from the United States, and our service providers (Cloudflare, Resend, Google) may process data in the U.S. and other countries. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country. Our providers maintain recognized safeguards for international transfers.
Children's privacy
Our site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
